Coco and I are headed to New York City at the end of September for a long weekend getaway. I have been to NYC many times but Coco and I have never been together and we are really looking forward to getting away just the two of us! We are trying to plan out a few things in advance and were wondering if you had any suggestions or favorite things to do in NYC. Any restaurants you can't resist, fab spots to shop or Broadway show that shouldn't be missed? What is your favorite "attraction" - a particular museum, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building or Radio City Music Hall? Share your favorites and suggestions with us!

Sounds like a great getaway! Can't wait to hear about it! I have only been to NYC once, so I don't have any recommendations. It was 13 years ago, and I don't remember a whole lot about the trip! Have fun planning!
I am taking my Hubs for his 30th b-day the last weekend of September. He has never been, so I am surprising him. Here's the posts that are what we are doing-

Well...I don't know a thing about NYC except that I want to go there - eat something yummy for me! You know how we Spann's like our food!
Go to Serendipity! I didn't get to go, but I realllllly want to! http://www.serendipity3.com/
I've been with a group of girls twice and we had a blast! We went around the holidays, so we saw the Rockettes, of course!
We ate a great Italian restaurant called Patsy's, lots of shopping, some sightseeing (did some TV tour and that was really cool), and other tourist attractions. I've seen the King & I and Hairspray and both were great!
KiKi and Coco should check out a cooking class at the CIA @ Astor Place. You can check out what is available during your visit @ http://www.astorcenternyc.com/home.ac?rel=logo
Hopefully the will have something you can enjoy! Also visit the Food NetWork Studios in the Village.
Kate - NYC! That is so exciting! Clint and I are thinking about going there for our anniversary this year! You need to go to Modern (the restaurant at the museum of modern art. It is a really unique menu and very good atmosphere. Also, if you have not seen Wicked (that is a must)! Spring Awakening is really great too...Have fun! Can't wait to hear all about it!
